Kitchen Social is a grassroots Not for Profit organisation located in Cliftonville, Margate.  

Education & access to quality food are our tools to lift households out of poverty.

We ease the burden on families where 1 in 4 children are affected by food poverty and it is reported that life expectancy is 11 years less than other areas of the UK.

Kitchen Social provides access to quality food to households with no income & affected by health inequalities. We work alongside these households for up to 6 months to teach cooking, meal planning, budgeting, sourcing affordable good quality food, saving money etc., to boost confidence & improve mental & physical health. 

Since 2020 we have delivered ingredients to make over 150,000 meals and supported over 350 families in need.
